JR Green
Dr. Green has spent over 30 years in K–12 education, serving as a teacher, administrator, principal, superintendent, and education consultant. From 2012 to 2024, he led the Fairfield County School District (FCSD), guiding a major turnaround. Under his leadership, FCSD expanded curriculum, improved facilities, updated staff salary schedules, and earned state and national honors, including the 2020 SC State Teacher of the Year, 2022 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, and 2021 SC Superintendent of the Year. In 2024, he received the SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award, the youngest ever. Dr. Green is now CEO of Green Team Consulting, providing executive coaching, organizational support, student mentoring initiatives, and keynote speaking. He also authored Graveyard to Blooming Garden, chronicling FCSD’s transformation.
